Informational Purpose Only
Suayves and Heat IQ are environmental awareness tools, not medical devices. The Suayves app and Heat IQ platform provide Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) data, hydration guidance, and heat safety information for general informational purposes only. Nothing on our Website, in our App, or in our enterprise products constitutes medical advice, medical diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
Not a Medical Device
Suayves LLC products are not regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as medical devices. WBGT is an environmental metric — a measure of ambient heat stress conditions — not a measure of individual physiological health status. Hydration recommendations generated by the App are based on general physiological models and publicly available research standards. They are not tailored to your specific medical history, conditions, medications, or clinical needs.
Weather App Analogy
Think of Suayves the way you think of a weather app. A weather app tells you it is raining so you can decide to bring an umbrella — it does not tell you whether rain is medically safe for you personally. Similarly, Suayves tells you that heat stress conditions are elevated so you can take precautions — it does not assess your individual medical risk.
Consult a Healthcare Professional
If you have a medical condition, take medications, or have other individual health factors that may affect your response to heat or hydration (including but not limited to cardiovascular conditions, kidney disease, diabetes, hyponatremia risk, or pregnancy), you should consult a qualified healthcare professional before relying on Suayves recommendations.
No Guarantee of Safety
Heat IQ provides safety managers with environmental data and compliance planning tools. Use of Heat IQ does not guarantee that heat-related illness will be prevented. Environmental conditions can change rapidly and human physiology varies significantly between individuals. Suayves LLC does not warrant that following Heat IQ alerts, thresholds, or recommendations will prevent injury, illness, or death.
Employers and safety managers remain solely responsible for the safety of their personnel and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Suayves LLC, its officers, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, or other damages arising from reliance on information provided by the Suayves App or Heat IQ. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, and punitive damages.
